There's no arguing that Napoleon Bonaparte had an immeasurable impact on the early 19th century.  Join us for a group outing to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) for their exhibit Napoleon:Power and Splendor.  This collection of over 200 works of art offers an insight into the nurturing of Bonaparte's image from Corsican soldier to Emperor of France through items commissioned both by and for him.

Included in your registration fee is discounted admission ($12/person) to a self-guided tour of the exhibition.  Current VMFA members may register for free as a part of our group by supplying a valid VMFA membership number.

The VMFA has granted us permission to attend in period attire, so wearing Regency era clothing is welcome but it is not required.  Please register no later than August 10 to join us for this exciting exhibition!
