Members of the RSV have been invited to attend the Eastern Shore History Festival to represent the Regency Period of the first Eastern Shore History Festival. The event is to be held at Ker Place, in Onancock, Virginia, Saturday, October 11, 2025, 10 am to 5 pm.
Attendees will be stationed at the beautiful Federal-period Georgian-style house was built from 1799 to 1803 for prosperous merchant farmer John Shepherd Ker; his wife, Agnes Corbin Ker; and their family. It is described by the Virginia Historic Landmarks Commission as "the finest and most elaborate Federal mansion on Virginia's Eastern Shore" and "one of the Shore's major architectural landmarks.
There are also extensive gardens for picnicking, etc. The house is walkable to downtown which has shops, restaurants and more.
