About this event

Join us for an evening lecture with Candice Hern as she presents What A Lady Carried in her Reticule in the Time of Jane Austen. Ms. Hern will explain what was a reticule, how it developed over time, what they were made from and, most importantly what was carried inside.  The presentation also included her personal collection of items that might have been carried daily.

The lecture will be held on-line via Zoom (no need to leave home) and is open to everyone!  Registration is required as we will need to send sign in information to you.

Refunds given (minus a $2 fee) prior to June 25, 2026.  Sorry, no refunds after that date.
