Ever wanted to learn how people danced in the early 19th century? Here's your opportunity!
We welcome Mr. Charles Steplively on January 30 as our guest dancing master! Attend this first dance practice of 2026 to get a preview of the dances that will be danced at Mr. Steplively's Valentine's Ball and take advantage of the opportunity to learn Regency era English Country Dance under his expert tutelage!
Our English Country Dance classes are beginner-friendly, free, and open to all regardless of RSV membership status. No partner is required to take part, so singles are very welcome! Whether you have years of dance experience or have never set foot on a ballroom floor, we'd love to have you join us. (Though, admittedly, it is helpful if you know your left from your right!)
While registration is not required, it is highly recommended by the Wednesday immediately preceding the class so that you can get the most up-to-date information or news about cancellations.
