Historic Locust Grove, which has now taken the lead in organizing the Jane Austen Festival in Louisville, Kentucky, has just announced that the 2021 Festival will be held in person as well as on a virtual platform! The Festival is scheduled from July 9-11, 2021 with registration opening on June 8.
This year's event will have an expanded virtual component to it with content only accessible to those who purchase virtual passes during registration. Virtual access includes access to pre-recorded speakers and all virtual live question and answer sessions. Passes are available for one day or for Saturday and Sunday. Virtual workshops are available as well and a list of offerings can be found on the
Festival website.
According to an e-mail sent out by Locust Grove, the in-person aspect of the Festival will be scaled back from previous years', however, will still include entertainment, workshops, and shopping. They will even be offering a ball hosted on a boat.
