Tuesday, May 11, 2021, 8:00 PM
Bibliophiles, rejoice! The Regency Society of Virginia cordially invites you to join our book club. Our Tuesday evening group will feature a variety of titles, either from or about the early 19th century. All are welcome to participate regardless of membership status with the RSV, but you must register in order to get the login credentials to join us on Zoom for our discussion.

While reading the "assigned" section is, of course, encouraged to enhance the discussion, if you don't have an opportunity to complete the reading, you are still most welcome to listen in.
This session will feature: Sharpe's Eagle by Bernard Cornwell.
- May 11: Chapters 1-11
- June 8: Chapters 12-Epilogue
Join us as we read the first published novel in Bernard Cornwell's well-known series following the fictional Richard Sharpe during the Napoleonic Wars. Sharpe's Eagle
is set during the Peninsular War's Talavera campaign in July 1809.
