Officer Nominations Accepted Through 11/30!

The Regency Society of Virginia relies on volunteers to run it, and whether you are enjoying a social media post, asking for assistance with the website, or attending a great event, those things would not be possible without the direction of our volunteer leaders. If you have ever wondered how you could make a difference in the RSV, here is an opportunity! We are currently seeking officer nominations for the 2024-2025 term. To run for office you must be a full member in good standing of the RSV (either Individual or an adult member on a Family Membership) who has been a member of the Regency Society of Virginia for at least 18 months and have participated in at least two RSV-sponsored events in that 18 month period. All positions are open and in need of nominees. Their responsibilities are, briefly:
- President - Provide leadership for the RSV as well as direct and coordinate other officers as appropriate for the functioning of the organization as a whole.
- Vice-President - Assist the President as necessary by providing logistical support, programming ideas, event coordination, etc. for the benefit of the Regency Society of Virginia.
- Treasurer - Responsible for the general financial management of the Regency Society of Virginia. Plans and keeps track of the budgets within the organization; collects, deposits and tracks funds, makes payments and reimbursements as appropriate, and provides an annual report on the state of the RSV's finances to the officer board and membership at large.
- Secretary - Primarily responsible for tracking membership and maintaining membership records, taking minutes at board and annual meetings, and assisting with publicity through the website, social media, etc.
