Special QuaranTea: Travel and Sportswear of the Early 19th Century
Sunday, June 13, 2021, 2:00 PM
With our Grand Caverns visit
looming, we're certain that there are those among our acquaintance who will desire to know the proper costume for traveling and touring. Join us for this specially scheduled "QuaranTea" in which we will discuss sportswear and traveling or carriage dress during the early 19th century! Our discussion will be led by Ann Wass, author of Clothing Through American History: The Federal Era Through Antebellum, 1786-1860
, clothing and textile historian, and former staff historian at the Riversdale House Museum in Riverdale Park, Maryland.
This free, online event is open to both members and non-members alike. Simply register to get the link to the Zoom meeting to join us!
