Tuesday, December 13, 2022, 8:00 PM
Bibliophiles, rejoice! The Regency Society of Virginia cordially invites you to join our book club. Our Tuesday evening group will feature a variety of titles, either from or about the early 19th century. All are welcome to participate regardless of membership status with the RSV, but you must register in order to get the login credentials to join us on Zoom for our discussion.

While reading the "assigned" section is, of course, encouraged to enhance the discussion, if you don't have an opportunity to complete the reading, you are still most welcome to listen in.
This session will feature: Native Memoirs from the War of 1812 by Carl Benn
Discover the stories and observations of two Native American participants during the War of 1812: Black Hawk, the British-allied chief of the still-independent Sauks from the upper Mississippi, and American soldier William Apess, a Christian convert from the Pequots who lived on a reservation in Connecticut
