Bibliophiles, rejoice! The Regency Society of Virginia cordially invites you to join our book club. Our Tuesday evening group will feature a variety of titles, either from or about the early 19th century. All are welcome to participate regardless of membership status with the RSV, but you must register in order to get the login credentials to join us on Zoom for our discussion.

This session will feature: A Midwife's Tale by Laurel Thatcher Ulrich
Follow the story of Martha Ballard, a midwife and healer in late 18th-/early 19th century Maine. Using the words of Mrs. Ballard's diary, Ulrich weaves a picture of not only the daily life of an extraordinarily industrious woman, but of her community as well.
